How Scheduling Works

Every appointment starts with a request

All appointments begin with a request. Submit the request form below, in person or virtual, and the office takes it from there.

Booking a time creates a request, not a confirmation

Requested times are reviewed and approved by Dr. Andrews, usually within one business day. Once approved, you will receive an intake packet to complete before your first session. Please allow time to complete it, the first appointment cannot proceed without it.

Clinical Function and Accommodation Consultation

Private pay only; not billable to insurance and no superbill is issued. Fees are confirmed in a written fee agreement before services begin.

Function-Focused Psychotherapy

Individual therapy for adolescents, emerging adults, adults, and older adults. Insurance accepted. Telehealth across NC, SC, GA, and VA; in person in Charlotte and Atlanta.

Clinical Supervision

For associate-level clinicians, LPC Residents in Virginia, and student counselors in NC, SC, GA, and VA. Fees are discussed directly during the initial consultation.

Sending a referral

Medical and behavioral health providers, employers, and human resources teams can send a referral using the online referral form, or by calling the office at (877) 305-0570, faxing (877) 418-3074, or emailing info@cheryllandrews.com. Audience-specific detail on referral triggers and process is on the Referrals page.

Attorneys, legal support teams, workers’ compensation carriers, third-party administrators, insurers, and case-management firms: these referrals are not accepted here. They are handled through a separate firm, The Vocational Standard, (980) 326-0616 or cheryl@thevocationalstandard.com.

EAP authorizations should be sent to info@cheryllandrews.com.

Practice policies at a glance

Practice policies
Cancellations	A $90 fee applies to appointments not cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Psychotherapy payment	Billable to insurance, including most commercial carriers, select Medicaid and Medicare plans, and most EAPs.
Consultation payment	Private pay only. Not billable to insurance; no superbill is issued.
Who you will see	All initial Function-Focused Psychotherapy appointments are conducted by Rayecine Neely. Dr. Andrews then determines the appropriate clinician assignment. In most cases Rayecine continues the psychotherapy under Dr. Andrews’ direct supervision. You are welcome to state a preference to work directly with Dr. Andrews.
